Boys High School Hockey Players of the Month for February (presented by Lawrence Tech Hockey)

The Michigan High School Hockey Coaches’ Association and Lawrence Tech Hockey have teamed up to create new players of the week and players of the month awards, and they have formed a selection committee to help with the process.

For the month of December, the committee – which features MiHockey editor Michael Caples as one of the voters – has selected players of the month for geographical divisions across the state.

Here are the players of the month for February. Winners are listed in bold and honorable mentions are listed in italics below.

 

North Region: Adam Jeannotte, Senior Forward, Cheboygan

Honorable Mention: Travis Cameron (Sr. Goaltender, Marquette), Teddy Randell (So. Forward, Hancock)

South Region: Derek Schaedig, Senior Goaltender, Chelsea

Honorable Mention: Connor Smith (Sr. Forward, Pinckney), Brandon Wright (Jr. Forward, Dexter)

Central Region: Sam Spaedt, Junior Forward, Saginaw Heritage

West Region: Lachlan Sawall, Senior Defenseman, Mattawan

Metro East Region: Logan Jenuwine, Senior Forward, Romeo
