Watch Jeff Lerg make one of the best saves you’ll ever see

Livonia native Jeff Lerg is in the hockey headlines, and it’s because of one specific save over the weekend.

Check out this thievery by the Michigan State product and Toledo Walleye netminder from Sunday night – in overtime, no less.

After making the save, Lerg continued to shut the door on the Fort Wayne Komets, leading his Walleye to a 3-2 shootout win.

On the season, Lerg is 20-5-1-2, and he holds a .929 save percentage and 2.05 goals-against average.
