Boys High School Hockey Players of the Week: Jan. 27 (presented by Lawrence Tech Hockey)

HS Hockey coverageFor the first time, high school hockey in the State of Michigan will have players of the week.

The Michigan High School Hockey Coaches’ Association and Lawrence Tech Hockey have teamed up to create new players of the week and players of the month awards, and they have formed a selection committee to help with the process.

Each week, the committee members will take the top nominated players by their respective coaches and high school programs and rank the individual performances. From there, players will be selected from their respective divisions as ‘players of the week.’

Here are the third Lawrence Tech Hockey High School Players of the Week (for games played from Jan. 18-24):

 

North Region: Dylan Paavola, Senior Defenseman, Hancock

Honorable Mention: Jake Phillips (Sr. Forward, Marquette), Adam Jeannotte (Sr. Forward, Cheboygan)

South Region: Connor Smith, Senior Forward, Pinckney

Honorable Mention: Jack Miller (Sr. Forward, Chelsea), Joe Boldt (Sr. Defenseman, Jackson Lumen Christi)

Central Region: Scott Alfano, Senior Forward, Howell

Honorable Mention: Robert Dalessandro (Jr. Forward, Grand Ledge Fowlerville), Conor Witherspoon (Jr. Forward, Flint Powers CC)

West Region: Mackey Withey, Junior Defenseman, Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central
