The Women’s Hockey East Association announced their 2014-15 Pro Ambitions All-Rookie Team yesterday, and two Michigan natives were on the roster.

Megan Keller and Tori Sullivan, both rookies with the Boston College women’s hockey program and longtime teammates with Honeybaked, were named to the all-rookie team, which was selected by the league’s eight head coaches.

Keller, a Farmington Hills native, was a unanimous selection for the all-rookie team, after she logged four goals and 20 assists in 33 games. More impressive, however, was her plus/minus – Keller finished plus-36. She was recently named to the U.S. Women’s National Team roster, and will represent her country at the IIHF Women’s World Championship later this month.

Sullivan, a West Bloomfield native, racked up 11 goals and 17 assists on the season, good for 28 points in 35 games as a freshman forward. And while we mentioned Keller’s impressive plus-36, Sullivan actually topped her long-time teammate, recording a plus-37 on the year.
