The Big Ten announced their weekly awards list today, and Michigan’s two B1G programs claimed all the spot.

Michigan State goaltender Jake Hildebrand was named the league’s first star, after the Spartans’ netminder led his team to a weekend sweep against Ohio State.

Hildebrand stopped 33 of the 34 shots he faced Friday night, leading Michigan State to a 4-1 win over the Buckeyes. He followed that performance up with a 22-save shutout on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Michigan forwards Zach Hyman and Justin Selman claimed the other two spots, after playing significant roles in UM’s offensive outburst against Wisconsin over the weekend. Michigan scored 13 goals in the two games on the road.

Selman recorded a hat trick in the Wolverines’ come-from-behind 7-4 win Friday night, and he also added an assist in the victory.

Meanwhile, Hyman recorded three goals and three assists over the course of the weekend. He is currently fourth in the NCAA in scoring with 35 points on the season.
