MiHockey’s ‘The Shift’ with Austin Czarnik

Welcome to MiHockey’s new feature ‘The Shift’ – hockey questions for hockey players. In each ‘The Shift’ feature, we take you through the mindset of today’s hockey player through a question-and-answer session, profiling players from the NHL all the way down to youth travel hockey.

Our next featured player is Washington, Mich., native Austin Czarnik. The Honeybaked and U.S. National Team Development Program product is entering his senior year with the Miami RedHawks, and he’s going to be a highly sought-after free agent when the season concludes in April. The final CCHA Player of the Year award winner in 2012-13, Czarnik is the leader of the Miami hockey program, and we can’t wait to see what he does in his fourth and final year.
