Matt Sorisho makes appearance on Discovery Channel’s “American Muscle”

Last night, “American Muscle” on the Discovery Channel gave a glimpse into the recovery process for injured hockey player Matt Sorisho.

The show, which follows elite strength coach Mike Barwis at his gym in Plymouth, Mich., has been featuring professional athletes like Detroit Lions star Ndamukong Suh. Last night’s show starred Cleveland Indians slugger Nick Swisher, who had a chance to meet Sorisho during a training session.

Sorisho, a standout player with the Catholic Central hockey program, was injured last October prior to his senior year of high school.
