The Fox Sports Detroit broadcast of Game 4 was pretty popular – so much so that it beat out the MLB on ESPN, NBA on TNT, Dancing with the Stars on ABC and The Voice on NBC to take the top viewership spot in Hockeytown.

Congrats to all the Michigan players selected in Phase 1 of the USHL Draft last night – there were seven out of the Compuware organization alone.

Highlights from a huge Game 4 win for the Red Wings.

Ron Rolston got a promotion, one could say. The Fenton native had the “interim” tag removed from coaching title in Buffalo, making him the official bench boss for the Sabres next season.

Team USA is currently taking on Russia at the World Championship across the pond. The American squad picked up a 4-1 win over Latvia yesterday, with goals coming from Michigan natives David Moss and Matt Hunwick after opening tournament play with a 5-3 win over Austria on Saturday.

Today’s Michi-gamer nod goes to Justin Williams, who scored the game-winner for the Kings last night.

Kris Letang, P.K. Subban and Ryan Suter are this year’s Norris Trophy finalists.

Sidney Crosby’s on the next Sports Illustrated cover – sure that’s going to sell real well in these parts.

Post-game interviews from Channel 7 in Detroit last night.

We’ll be watching Phase 2 of the USHL Draft tonight – expecting a whole bunch of Michigan names called once again.
