The NHL officially website has shared the realignment reports, which means it’s full steam ahead at this point, right? In case you’ve missed it, the Wings and the Blue Jackets would move to the East, creating a conference of 16 teams and a conference of 14 teams. Our latest from East Lansing takes a look at how Will Yanakeff did this weekend out in Alaska, and how MSU is preparing for Western Michigan.

And while we’re over on the west side of the state, here’s our latest feature on the Griffins – we take a look at how Mitch Callahan is changing his role.

Drew (and Ryan) Miller’s dad takes us inside the Red Wings’ annual father/son trip with some GoPro videos. Check ’em out.

The Stars’ Michael Ryder has been traded to Montreal in exchange for Erik Cole, while Simon Gagne has returned to Philly.

Jay Bouwmeester is now the record-holder for NHL games played without ever skating in a playoff contest. Ouch, bro.

Fascinating read about why a youth team ran up the score on a United Arab Emirates team from Puck Daddy right here. Politics, hockey, more.
