The Griffins are currently taking on the Milwaukee Admirals in their 12th annual matinee game. MiHockey writer Pat Evans is inside Van Andel, meaning we’ll have some coverage of the game coming up later today. The Griffins expected over 5,000 students to be visiting today – now that’s a field trip we approve of.

The NTDP U18 team got off to a good start in the Four Nations tournament in Ann Arbor yesterday, beating the Finns 3-1.

Today’s Michi-gamer is Matt Mahalak, after the Plymouth Whalers goaltender helped his team to a 4-1 win over in-state rival Saginaw yesterday.
