Happy Election Day! Hope you all voted (if you’re old enough, of course).

Hockey-playing Uncle Sam has one question for you…

Matt DeBlouw is today’s Michi-gamer after an outstanding weekend performance. See what he did right here.

Congrats to the Grosse Pointe Bulldogs for capturing the Bantam AAA Major title at the Bauer Invite over the weekend.

Our latest from Grand Rapids is a feature on one of the Wings’ top prospects – Tomas Jurco.

And from yesterday afternoon, a MiHockey article about what the Winter Classic cancellation means to Detroit, Michigan, and the Red Wings players.

Check out the opening night celebration the Griffins had a few weeks back…per usual, I love the behind-the-scenes footage.

The latest meeting between the two groups involved in the lockout has been kept private, yet TSN reports that they are meeting this afternoon (hopefully talking right now). They’ve already canceled the Winter Classic, but I sure would like to see NHL hockey sometime this season.

Legendary goaltender turned politician Ken Dryden shares his thoughts on the lockout situation with The Globe and Mail.

And finally, check out Buffalo Sabres defenseman Andrej Sekera (currently playing in the KHL) jump into the opposition’s bench in an attempt to avoid a too-many-men call. You gotta love the effort, but at the same time… (thanks to Puck Daddy for finding this gem)

The MiHockey team is taking on the CCHA in a battle of moustaches for Movember – all for charity. To read more about it, click right here, or on the cool graphic attached below.
