High school hockey is almost here! Check out our article on the list of teams participating in this year’s MIHL Prep Hockey Showcase; teams from Michigan will even be taking on Canadian and out-of-state opponents.

Outside the Mitten

TSN’s Bob McKenzie says that the silver lining for the lockout is that the World Juniors will have more star power in it. I don’t know how you can make the World Juniors even more exciting than it already is, but hey, it’s not the worst argument in the world.

Negotiations between the NHL and NHLPA are expected to resume tomorrow.

Scott Burnside says that Brian Burke should be Team USA’s GM for the Sochi games. I just want to see Michigan native Dan Bylsma behind the bench.
