The Red Wings invited their fans to come to Joe Louis Arena yesterday for the filming of a Pure Michigan commercial. Here’s a photo of a whole bunch of red and white hockey sweaters lining the stairs outside the rink.

 

The Free Press is reporting that hometown hero Mike Modano and his wife, singer/actress Willa Ford, are getting a divorce. You might remember Willa from her one successful song – “I wanna be bad.” I’m using successful lightly, by the way.
