The Red Wings started the second half of their season off on the right foot, beating the Flames 3-1 in Calgary. Cory Emmerton, Jiri Hudler, and Drew Miller all scored for the Wings, while Jimmy Howard made 28 saves for his 31st win of the season. Calgary’s only goal came from former Wolverines star Mike Cammalleri – a power-play tally 1:59 into the second period. The Wings now hold a .500 road record, and have three more West Coast games on the schedule before returning home for the Oilers on Feb. 9.
