Shaved Ice – Oct. 21

Quick hits

Here’s our recap from last night’s game in East Lansing, where Drew Palmisano and the Spartans picked up their first CCHA win of the season. The Spartans topped the Buckeyes 3-0, and they will try for a two-game sweep tonight.

Brandon Saad ate his Wheaties yesterday. The Blackhawks prospect had four goals and an assist in a 5-2 Spirit win over Brampton.  Saad registered a natural hat trick over the first two periods, with the third goal coming shorthanded.

The Red Wings, the Whalers, and the Wolverines all play tonight – here’s to hoping for more success from the Michigan teams this weekend.
